Beautiful Bespoke Wedding Stationery That Will Tell Your Love Story
Bespoke wedding stationery is for couples that are looking for a unique stationery design, one that is a true reflection of your personalities and the perfect fit to your dream wedding. It is designed with you in mind, and will set the scene for your guests so they know what type of wedding you are planning.
If you can't find an 'off the peg' design that matches your wedding ideas, then having your stationery designed especially for you is a good solution.
Your wedding stationery plays an important part in the planning process, and couples often take their invitations as inspiration for their florists, cake maker and venue stylists. It is the first glimpse your guests will get of your wedding, so it has to make the right impression.
Our Bespoke Design Process
It starts with a design consultation to discuss your big day, finding out about all the little details like your colours and personal style. (If you do not live nearby, then we can chat over the phone or via face time/skype)
The initial briefing gives me a good idea of the type of design that will work best for you. Here are some design ideas that other couples have asked us to include:
• Watercolour Illustration / drawing of a special flower
• Illustration of the wedding venue.
• Couples initials as a monogram/logo
• Family crest/badge
I have a wide selection of papers and finishes for you to choose from that will compliment your bespoke wedding stationery design and I will give you a quote for the various options that are suitable.
Once you've approved the quote and have paid your 50% deposit and/or design fee, you'll then receive your first set of proofs via email within a week.
After you have received your proof we can chat about any amendments you would like to make.
Once you have checked and signed off the final proofs, the designs will be sent off for printing.
You can expect to receive a lovely package delivered (by me if you live in the Manchester/Cheshire area) with your personalised wedding stationery around 7-10 days later. This can take a little longer if you have opted for invitation assembly.
How much will bespoke stationery design cost?
This will depend on the scope of the design project and time involved, with prices starting from £125 for a full wedding invitation suite. (Printing costs are seperate)
Adding extra hand drawn elements such as your venue and
a map will increase the design price, so I include a full breakdown of the costs in my quotation.
Most couples also chose to have a matching design for their on the day stationery, and prices for this start from £150 and include personalised place cards, table numbers, menus, order of service cards/books, his & her vows, welcome sign and table plan.
How to book a bespoke wedding stationery design consultation
If you have a collection of wedding ideas, and are ready to get creative with your wedding stationery then book a consultation time that is best for you. I dedicate Saturday's to meeting with couples normally, however I can also arrange to meet/chat during the week if this is more convenient.
Consultations normally last around 1 hour, as I do like to take a detailed brief so I can design the perfect stationery for you. During this time I will discuss lots of design ideas, and show you all the different paper and finishing options. I recommend making a list of all your questions and bringing this along to the meeting.
Farm inspired bespoke
Lizzy and Rob both wanted to bring in their love of the farm for their big wedding, that was being hosted on the families farm land.
Rob was passionate about his cows, and Lizzy spent most of her free time horse riding. My bespoke stationery design gave a nod to this with a little watercolour cow and horse illustration, surrounded by delicate white flowers and foliage. Cornflower blue colours were added to match the bridesmaids dresses.
Lizzy and Rob opted for traditional wording on the invitation cards, with a full suite including an RSVP card and gift card. The stationery was printed on textured white gesso card, with cornflower blue envelopes.
The design was then continued into the order of service, table cards, place cards and welcome sign.

Blue and Blush bespoke wedding stationery
Daniella and John did not have any ideas in mind apart from the colour palette, so during our initial consultation we discussed lots of different options. I took my design inspiration from the rose floral hoops they are having as table centrepieces.
Along with the navy blue and blush colours, I created a stationery suite that complimented the couples unique style. The result was a timeless design with a modern finish, using a special white ink on the invitations.
Finishing touches included blush wax seals and envelopes.
Protea Flower Bespoke wedding stationery
Hannah and Nicholas had very specific ideas for their wedding stationery. They asked me to incorporate the Protea Flower into the design, as this had a very special meaning to the couple.
They wanted the invitations to look modern and stylish, but with a traditional finish. After discussing all the different paper and finishing options, they chose a textured cream card.
The design was then used across all of the on the day wedding stationery including table cards, place cards and seating plan.
