Our Bespoke Design Process
It starts with a bespoke design consultation to discuss your big day, finding out about all the little details like your colours and personal style. (Virtual chat via zoom or phone call)
The initial briefing gives me a good idea of the type of design that will work best for you. Here are some design ideas that other couples have asked us to include:
• Watercolour Illustration / drawing of a special flower
• Illustration of the wedding venue.
• Couples initials as a monogram/logo
• Family crest/badge
I have a wide selection of papers and finishes for you to choose from that will compliment your bespoke wedding stationery design and I will give you a quote for the various options that are suitable.
Once you've approved the quote and have paid your 50% deposit and/or design fee, you'll then receive your first set of proofs via email within a week.
After you have received your proof we can chat about any amendments you would like to make.
Once you have checked and signed off the final proofs, the designs will be sent off for printing.
You can expect to receive a lovely package delivered (by me if you live in the Manchester/Cheshire area) with your personalised wedding stationery around 7-10 days later. This can take a little longer if you have opted for invitation assembly.
How much will bespoke stationery design cost?
This will depend on the scope of the design project and time involved, with prices starting from £120 for a small wedding venue illustration. (Printing costs are seperate)
Adding extra hand drawn elements such as a monogram/motif, bespoke illustration or a map will increase the design price, so I include a full breakdown of the costs in my quotation.
Most couples also chose to have a matching design for their on the day stationery, and include personalised place cards, table numbers, menus, order of service cards/books, his & her vows, welcome sign and table plan.
How to book a bespoke wedding stationery design consultation
If you have a collection of wedding ideas, and are ready to get creative with your wedding stationery then book a consultation time that is best for you. I offer daytime and evening meeting times, to fit around your busy schedule.
Consultations normally last around 1 hour, as I do like to take a detailed brief so I can design the perfect stationery for you. During this time I will discuss lots of design ideas, and show you all the different paper and finishing options. I recommend making a list of all your questions and bringing this along to the meeting.
