The final hours of the year are often reserved for celebration, but for Elizabeth and Alastair, December 31st became the unforgettable date of their elegant Black Tie wedding at the stunning Wyresdale Park in Lancashire. This was not just a wedding; it was a sophisticated New Year’s Eve party wrapped in the romance of a beautiful winter celebration.

Setting the Scene: Contemporary Elegance
Elizabeth and Alastair chose a design that was both bold and timeless, perfectly setting the tone for their formal, festive event. Their stationery suite utilised a striking black and white palette, offering a sleek, contemporary style that elevated the rustic charm of the venue.
The Welcome Sign greeted guests, featuring their names in a beautiful script font alongside a modern serif. This bold, minimalist design was an immediate statement of sophistication, carrying the promise of a chic evening.

The Venue Transformation: Rustic Charm Meets Formal Glamour
Wyresdale Park, known for its beautiful barns and relaxed setting, was transformed for this black-tie affair. The ceremony space utilised the barn's raw beauty, featuring exposed wooden beams and stone walls, which were softened by ambient lighting and delicate floral touches. Simple wooden cross-back chairs and an abundance of candlelight created an intimate, glowing atmosphere.

The reception maintained this balance. Long wooden tables and classic white round tables were dressed with crisp white linens. The table stationery seamlessly integrated the black-tie theme.
Table Names: The tables were named after destinations, like "Manhattan", printed in elegant script on the same bold black cardstock.
Menus: Each setting featured a simple, stylish black menu card, showcasing a carefully chosen three-course meal.
Place cards: A small white card personalised with the guests name finished with a black tassel

Thoughtful Details for a Festive Winter Celebration
Recognising that a New Year's Eve wedding is all about the celebratory countdown, my couple incorporated wonderful, thoughtful touches that doubled as favours and decor:
Sparkler Tags: Adorning each table setting was a small black tag reading "Let The Sparks Fly". These elegant tags were tied to sparklers, ensuring every guest was ready to light up the night as the clock struck midnight—a perfect stationery detail for a New Year's celebration!
Smaller wedding signs: They also ensured guest comfort with a small sign that read: "To Have And To Hold, Incase You Get Cold", placed beside neatly rolled blankets or shawls, adding a personalised, caring element to the decor.

The Grand Finale: Finding Your Seats
The large-scale Seating Plan maintained the elegant aesthetic, guiding guests to their tables for the grand reception. Placed on an easel and framed by soft candlelight and white florals, it was both functional and a beautiful piece of decor. The promise of the evening, beautifully set by the striking black-and-white invitations and the festive sparkler tags, culminated in an atmosphere ready for celebration and ringing in the New Year as Mr. & Mrs.

Elizabeth and Alastair’s wedding was the perfect blend of winter glamour and rustic warmth—a truly unforgettable way to start their married life!
